Julian Draxler is one of the most well-known young talents in world football; plying his trade with Bundesliga side Schalke, even as a young player, he has become a regular in the side at the Veltins Arena. His impressive performances for Schalke undoubtedly justify why he has appeared quite often of late. There are many exciting young German stars around at the moment and you can certainly put Draxler on that last; he has magnificent technique, a flawless touch and formidable vision, meaning he is on course to become a regular member in the Germany squad for years to come.

This season, Draxler has really come into his own, having had limited game-time when Lewis Holtby was still at Schalke, he know finds himself as one of the key players at the Bundesliga outfit. While Holtby was still at the German side, Draxler was mainly used as a left-midfielder; a position which he was not entirely comfortable with. But since Holtby’s move to Spurs, Draxler has been shifted into a more central position, where he is able to both create and score goals. Despite being only 19, Draxler has made over 100 appearances for Schalke; for a player of his age to play so many games just goes to show how well he is regarded at Schalke.

There is no doubt that he will excel on both the domestic and international scene, so make sure you remember the name Julian Draxler.
